STATUS NOTICE: October 2010: We were able to make a visit to Shinnecock and repair the air temperature sensor. Unfortunately, the weather equipment and remote server are still in need of a major overhaul, resulting in periodic outages and delays in posting camera and weather data.

Our current budget and staffing levels limit the effort we can expend in support of the Shinnecock site. We hope to locate funding sources to refurbish and upgrade the station over the winter.

Please feel free to email me, public interest is an important factor in keeping LIShore operational. We regret any inconvenience and thank you for your continuing support of LIShore.
